Touché Amoré Set to Work on New Album

Despite issuing a split 7-inch with Pianos Become the Teeth earlier this year, L.A. post-hardcore kids Touché Amoré have been pretty quiet since issuing their Exclaim!-approved sophomore set Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me in 2011. Now's the calm before the storm, though, as the band have announced they've started recording album No. 3.

A trailer popped up earlier today (May 8) that confirms Touché Amoré have just hit the studio this week with producer Brad Wood (Sunny Day Real Estate, Smashing Pumpkins, Ben Lee) to prep their next set. While details on the as-yet-untitled LP are extremely slim at present, the clip confirms that the record should hit store shelves sometime this fall via Deathwish Inc.

Song titles have yet to pop up, but you can sample the serene six-string shimmer of one studio recording, as well as a quick snippet of the band bashing out the song, in the studio-set trailer down below.
