Touché Amoré Unveil 'Is Survived By' Album Plans

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 27, 2013

Back in May, California post-hardcore act Touché Amoré announced they had hit the studio to work on the follow-up to 2011's Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me, and it appears as if the record is complete. Titled Is Survived By, the group's latest arrives September 24 Deathwish Inc.

While a tracklisting has yet to be offered up, a press release confirms that the album contains 12 new songs tracked with producer Brad Wood (Sunny Day Real Estate, Smashing Pumpkins) in Valley Village, CA. This is the band's third LP overall. Their most recent release was the split 7-inch with Pianos Become the Teeth that came out early this year.

You can catch a snippet of an as-yet-unnamed new tune in the scenic trailer down below.
