Canadian Music Week saw a number of '90s Canadian rock outfits reunite, including the Indies' Hall of Fame inductees Treble Charger. Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning was on hand to introduce the group, though he took a bit of a meandering detour down memory lane, reminiscing about his previous collaborations with the Treble Charger guys. Clearly stalling for time, Canning's intro was nevertheless kind of hilarious and awesome. The band eventually took the stage with Greig Nori pointing into the audience and proclaiming, "I remember you from 1997!" before launching into the classic "American Psycho." Bill Priddle took the reins on 1997's "Red" before the group were presented with their award. Despite the awesome nostalgia-triggering pair of tunes, which were pulled off easily, the audience at the Indies may have been a little young to really appreciate the performance.
