With 13 solo albums to his name on top of work with Massive Attack, Björk, Grace Jones and many more, Tricky is set to look back on his life and work in a new autobiography.
The trip-hop pioneer announced today that the self-authored Hell Is Round the Corner will hit shelves on October 31 though Blink Publishing.
The book takes its title from Tricky's iconic 1995 solo debut Maxinquaye. You can find its over art above.
An abstract from an Amazon pre-order page describes the book as a "unique, no-holds barred autobiography" that "is not only a portrait of an incredible artist — it is also a gripping slice of social history packed with extraordinary anecdotes and voices from the margins of society."
Crack reports that Hell Is Round the Corner was written in collaboration with journalist Andrew Perry, and features contributions from members of Tricky's family, music industry insiders, "former gangsters" and fellow musical peers.
Tricky's most recent solo effort is 2017's Ununiform.
