Coming as a bit of a surprise, Atlanta rapper Trinidad Jame$ has emerged with claims that he's been dropped by his label, Def Jam.

The announcement follows a 2012 deal with Def Jam for a reported $2 million. That deal came in the wake of the rapper's hit "All Gold Everything," and Jame$ was working on his debut for the label. On the plus side, it looks as if fans may get the new Trinidad Jame$ album as a freebie.
