Shadowy electro-pop act Trust have done plenty of touring since releasing their album TRST last year, and they won't be resting on their laurels anytime soon. They've now confirmed that their sophomore full-length, Joyland, will be out on March 4 through Arts & Crafts.
Details surrounding the album, such as tracklist and lead single, have yet to emerge, but you can watch a short trailer video below. It features a clip of twinkly, ambient electronic music and some blurry visuals.
While TRST was created by Robert Alfons with Austra member Maya Postepski, it doesn't seem that the latter musician was involved for Joyland. Alfons now appears in publicity photos alone, and a press release simply reads, "Trust is the musical project of Toronto artist Robert Alfons."
Tour dates:
12/10 Istanbul, Turkey - Salon
12/11 London, England - Servants Jazz Quarter
12/12 Paris, France - Le Trabendo
12/13 Madrid, Spain - Charada
