Twin Sister Sign to Domino

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 24, 2011

Though things have been building steadily for Long Island dream pop outfit Twin Sister over the last little while, it looks as if the group are finally hitting the big time. Since they dropped their enigmatic Color Your Life EP last spring, the group have gone on tour with the Morning Benders and Cults, issued a split single with the Luyas, and just a couple of weeks ago, it was announced that their 2008 digital EP Vampires with Dreaming Kids was being re-released on vinyl. Seems like the buzz has paid off, as the act have just been nabbed by prestigious indie imprint Domino.

While there isn't much info to go on beyond that, a press release from the label promises a debut album from the New Yorkers later this year. We'll be anxiously waiting in the wings in the meantime.

Luckily, the band do have some concrete plans for the summer via a tour that will see them tagging along with Beirut and Wild Nothing, among others. You can check out those tour dates, which include stops in Toronto and Montreal, below.
