This band of Toronto journalists, led by Eye Weekly editor Stuart Berman, played to a thin crowd on Pop’s second night, but that didn’t stop these post-punk fans from givin’ ’er — by set’s end, Berman was practically running laps through the audience and sporadically collapsing on stage. The real Koreas are barely on speaking terms, but their Toronto namesakes operate like a well-oiled machine, despite the absence of both organist Jason Anderson and drummer David Gee, who, Berman said, was "with child.” They closed with a spirited cover of LCD Soundsystem’s "North American Scum,” which was the kimchi on the bibimbap.
