Ty Segall Unveils 'Fudge Sandwich' Covers Album

The LP finds Segall reinterpreting Neil Young, War, Sparks and more

Just over a month removed from releasing his collaborative effort with White Fence, the ever-prolific Ty Segall has lined up a new album of cover tunes.

Titled Fudge Sandwich, the 11-track effort will arrive October 26 through In the Red Records. The album is said to be a covers collection of songs Segall loves.

These include Neil Young's "The Loner," Funkadelic's "Hit It and Quit It" and War's "Lowrider," as well as songs from the Grateful Dead, John Lennon, Sparks, Amon Düül II and more.

You can hear Segall's take on "I'm a Man" by the Spencer Davis Group in the player below. Segall will also hit the road on a solo acoustic tour in October, which you can find dates for here.
