Ty Segall Returns with Self-titled LP

BY Josiah HughesPublished Nov 15, 2016

California garage-pop dude Ty Segall appears to be competing against his contemporaries Thee Oh Sees in the ongoing race to release the most material. Up next, he'll release his ninth Ty Segall album (not including his various side-projects). This one's called, simply, Ty Segall.

The album features plenty of solo Segall songs on acoustic guitar, but he also assembled a full studio band that includes Emmett Kelly, Mikal Cronin, Charles Moothart and Ben Boye.

Ty Segall sees the light of day on January 27 via Drag City. Until then, you can stream lead single "Orange Color Queen" below.

The artist also has a hefty batch of American tour dates coming up as well, all of which are available below the tracklist.
