Uffie's Debut LP Finally Slated for Early 2010; Pharrell to Guest

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 6, 2009

As part of the Ed Banger crew, French-American rapper Uffie had her name thrown around a lot when acts like Justice rose to prominence in 2007. Besides appearing on that band's "Tthhee Ppaarrttyy" single, Uffie had her tracks spread around, but no album surfaced. Now, some details for her debut album have been announced.

Titled Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, the record is apparently completed and expected out in early 2010. Besides Ed Banger staples like DJ Feadz, Mr. Oizo, Busy P and SebastiAn, rumours are circulating that Neptunes/N.E.R.D. brainiac Pharrell Williams is expected to appear on a single from the album.

In the meantime, Uffie has released a music video for her track "Pop the Glock," which has been out since 2006. Just be warned: this video contains a lot of vocoder, bright colours and teenage slutting around.
