Leading a Danish-heavy pack at this year’s event, Denmark’s brooding post-rock sensations put on one of CMW’s most arresting performances, despite a half-full turn out. Every ignorant pass holder’s loss was the gain of those in attendance, as the eight-piece sported their impressive collective chops to bring down the comfortably spaced out house with an invigorating combination of mystifying visuals, blindingly bright lights and a sound so intense the drama ended only when they left the stage. By that time everyone was left gathering their dropped jaws, trying to regain the composure that was suspended for the band’s 45-minute set.
