Next month, post-Christian metalcore titans Underoath are set to release their comeback album Erase Me — their first album since 2010's swansong Ø (Disambiguation). We've already heard the album's "On My Teeth," and today they've followed it up with their second single "Rapture."

The song, which can be streamed below via BBC, is a decided shift for the band. In place of metalcore breakdowns and throat-shredding screams, it's a straight-ahead hard rock anthem that sounds like it could find a home on your local modern rock radio dial.

It's certainly well-executed, although Underoath fans are quite divided over its sound. Check out the single below, where you'll also find a great deal of Twitter reactions.

Erase Me arrives on April 6 via Fearless Records.
