Union Duke Premiere "Ladidadida" Video

Twangy alt-country unit Union Duke have returned with a new single called "Ladidadida," and it's arrived with a music video.

According to a press release, the song tells "the story of anyone who has to leave the things they love behind, the unbridled bliss of making it back in one piece, and the desperate highs and lows of the spaces in between."

The clip was shot at the Lunenburg Seaport in Lunenburg, NS — a place that the band fell in love with after playing a nearby festival. Enamoured with the spot, they returned on their last tour and opted to shoot video at the Lunenburg Seaport with director Katy Hopkins.

"Shooting the video out there worked out well as it plays off the theme of being away from those you love," the band tell Exclaim! "The song is essentially about the hardships of touring (we're the first band to write a song about that) and I've always thought of it as a pretty good musical representation of how touring feels so shooting it live-off-the-floor in a familiar but far-off place just felt right."

Union Duke's next live show is in Toronto tomorrow night (June 14) at Lee's Palace.
