In the lead-up to the release of her self-titled sophomore record, Vagabon has shared a music video for the lead single "Water Me Down."
The clip shows the artist born Lætitia Tamko in a highly choreographed sequence alongside a couple of dancers, donning colourful costumes to match the gorgeous set. The video was directed by Maegan Houang, who issued the following statement:
We worked with [choreographer] Derek Nemechek to choreograph movement that went from feeling rigid and structured to something more free form. Lighting, camera movement, costume design, color and set changes then served to accentuate the transformation Laetitia undergoes, finally allowing herself to be free and alone from people that hold her back.
Watch the "Water Me Down" video below.
Vagabon is due this October 18 via Nonesuch Records. Tamko's last release was Infinite Worlds back in 2017.
Vagabon will head out on tour with Angel Olsen this fall. View the full itinerary here.
