Valley just announced their third album, Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden — executive-produced by Chase Lawrence of COIN — but they have even more news in bloom: in addition to sharing the title track today, the band have mapped out an extensive North American tour for later this year. It includes shows in 14 Canadian cities.

The tour kicks off in the US with support from Charli Adams and Mickey Darling, beginning on September 28 in Philadelphia, PA. Stateside dates will wrap up on October 22 in Seattle, WA, with Valley then embarking on the Canadian leg on October 23 in Vancouver with renforshort.

From there, the band will hit Edmonton (October 26), Saskatoon (October 29) and Winnipeg (October 30) before heading to the central part of the country for four Ontario shows (London, Waterloo, Kingston and Ottawa) and two in Quebec (Montreal and Quebec City). After East Coast dates in Charlottetown (November 14), Moncton (November 15) and Halifax (November 16), the tour comes to an end with a hometown show at Toronto's History on December 13, with support from Exclaim! Class of 2024 grads Bestfriend.

"'Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden' is a song about love and loss," drummer Karah James explained of the title track in a statement. "It touches on the classic idea that nobody is going to make you happier than yourself, and sometimes we take ourselves too seriously to the point where we become unhappy. Everything feels like a bigger deal than it really is or ever should be. Sometimes the best thing we can do is just laugh at ourselves and let it go."

Give it a listen below, where you'll also find the whole tour itinerary. Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday (June 14), with various presales running from June 11 onward.
