Vampire Weekend have rolled out a few lyric videos from their new disc, Modern Vampires of the City, and now they've shared the entire album ahead of its May 14 release on XL Recordings. The full 12-track collection is available to stream all week through iTunes.
The album kicks off with the mellow "Obvious Bicycle," and while the first few songs sound like fairly typical Vampire Weekend, things go a little haywire on the frantic, chaotically arranged "Diane Young." Elsewhere, "Worship You" pairs feverish strumming with rapid-fire vocals before the album closes with the mellow combo of "Hudson" and "Young Lion."
