This gathering of conscious-minded reggae artists to pay tribute to the late Garnet Silk was no doubt spellbinding but its difficult to tell from this concert DVD. The sound is generally good (offered both in stereo and surround) and the performances are almost all spirited but the camera work is shoddy throughout, giving this film the feel of a home video. Almost exclusively shot with one angle from stage right, the uninventive lens work dulls the concert considerably, never putting the viewer there. Highlights include Turbulance and Aaron Silk but the thoughtless editing often chops songs in half, especially in the case of a phenomenal yet drastically trimmed set from Japanese scratch champion DJ Kentaro.
