Velvets Voted Best Debut Ever

UK music magazine Uncut has published its list of the "best debut albums of all time,” selecting the Velvet Underground & Nico’s 1967 self-titled album as the ruler; Television, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Stone Roses and the Band, round out the top five. Contemporary acts on the top 100 include the Arcade Fire (100), Franz Ferdinand (90), the Libertines (78) and the Arctic Monkeys (36).
