Early on, we see the spitter showing up in Los Angeles to talk to a friend about his feelings about the game ("It's not fun, I'm not feeling it"), leading his pal to offer up an ear drop's worth of synthetic fun. What we get from there is a play-by-play of the rest of his night, from skating streets and riding faded in a drop-top, to experiencing a back-cracking massage and blacking out a party.
