Upon delivering The Manuscript last month, Vic Mensa hinted that a full-length effort was coming "very soon." Now, the rapper has shared the title and release date of the record.
Mensa took to Twitter today (July 11) to announce that The Autobiography will arrive July 28. It marks the rapper's debut studio album, preceded by 2013's Innanetape, 2016's There's Alot Going On and The Manuscript.
Mensa also made the announcement in the real world through a series of bookstore windows featuring himself scrawling "THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY AS TOLD BY VIC MENSA BASED ON A TRUE STORY" in a series of shop windows, as you can see above.
An additional tweet saw him call out to fans to go find the window art in bookstores in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, adding that "if you're fast enough I'll play u [sic] my debut album this weekend."
