Vic Mensa continues to confront sociopolitical issues head on, and he's making sure his actions match his words by performing at an anti-ICE rally in Los Angeles next week.
The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement group's practices have come under fire since the organization started locking up immigrant families in detention centres. Mensa is joining the chorus of Americans speaking out against the practice by performing at ICE's headquarters in L.A.
Mensa announced the show on his Instagram. Describing it as "THE DAY TO PULL UP ON I.C.E. & ROCK OUT," the "Fuck ICE! For da Kids!" concert will include a performance from Mensa's punk band 93Punx.
If you happen to be spending your Labour Day weekend in Los Angeles, you can watch Mensa's protest performance on September 2. The set kicks off at 4 p.m.
