Villagers

"Nothing Arrived" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Nov 20, 2012

When Irish folk-rock outfit Villagers announced their upcoming {Awayland} LP, the band delivered a scenic trailer that teased a number of new tunes. Now, the band have offered a song in full via the new video clip for album track "Nothing Arrived."

The song is another wistful cut from the group and features soft guitar sounds, poppy piano plunks, and Conor J. O'Brien's hushed and precious musings. The video is described as a day in the life of office employee Terrence Bliss. You see the dude's crummy co-workers push him around whilst jigging, boozing and getting sexy at an in-house, after-hours mixer, but at least the guy can take salvage in the little things in life, like picking up his daily lottery ticket.

You can check out Terrence's daily routine unfold down below.

As previously reported, Domino issues {Awayland} overseas January 14, while the label will deliver it in North American April 9.
