The line-up has been announced for the Petite-Nation Rockfest 2010, Eastern Quebec's premier rock festival. The event, taking place on June 18 and 19, will feature 60 bands on three stages and the impressive line-up is sure to make it yet another must-see Canadian summer fest.

There's certainly some big names at the fest this year: Canuck progressive thrash pioneers Voivod and legendary U.S. punkers Misfits are going to be rocking it at Rockfest. As well, political mohawked types Anti-Flag will be in the house, as will Canuck screamo kings Alexisonfire and long-running Quebecois death metal grinders Kataklysm. And just for fun, there will be two tribute bands: Alcoholica will be paying homage to Metallica, while Fadeless will be honouring Nirvana.

Tunes aside, the fest also features "numerous sideshows and activities on the site, local artists, merch booths, and many surprises," according to the festival website. There will also be bus packages available to help folks get to the fest, which is located 75 minutes from Montreal and 50 minutes from Ottawa.

Tickets for the event are $29 and are available here, or by calling 1-800-361-4595.
