Following a 2011 incident, Waka Flocka Flame and Mizay Entertainment have been ordered to pay $501,000 in damages after a shooting incident in Charlotte, NC.
As AllHipHop reports, Waka Flocka Flame and his entourage were upgrading their sound system at a car stereo spot in Charlotte. At the time, two apparently suspicious-looking vehicles approached Waka and his crew, and three men exited the vehicles. When one man approached, the rapper's security team opened fire.
One of the men, named Antonio Stukes, claimed he was simply trying to give Waka a demo CD, while the musician's camp insists that he had been threatening the rap star. During the incident, Stukes was shot in his shoulder.
Initially, Stukes had been charged with attempted armed robbery and other charges, but those were dropped due to a lack of evidence. On Tuesday (December 18), a judge ordered that Waka and Mizay Entertainment must pay $501,000 to Stukes.
