Waka Flocka Flame Surrenders to Police

It's beginning to look like 2011 is going to be a terrible year for our most beloved gangster rappers. As we recently learned, Gucci Mane is likely to face up to 17 months in prison and has been transported to a medical treatment facility. Now, partner in (musical) crime Waka Flocka Flame (born Juaquin Malphurs) has turned himself in to face drug and weapons charges.

As reported, Waka Flocka's house was raided by police on the morning of December 16, where guns and marijuana were found. Waka was not on the scene, but Gucci Mane was, leading the latter to be handcuffed but later released. Two other men were arrested at the time, and now Waka Flocka has surrendered to police.

Waka's mother, Debra Antney, explained to TMZ, "He didn't want to run."

TMZ has also obtained a list of Waka's alleged charges from the Henry County Sheriff's Department. They include possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession of hydrocodone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, violation of probation for driving on a suspended licence and violating Georgia's "Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act."

Waka Flocka Flame is currently being held on a $31,950 bond. A hearing has been set for Tuesday (January 4).
