Now that they have an album coming out this fall, it only makes sense that the Walkmen should parade it around a little. So, they have now announced that they will embark on a lengthy North American tour this fall, in addition to their previously scheduled summer festival dates.
The band will play a handful of festivals this July and August (including a stop at Montreal's Osheaga Festival) before setting off on their own tour that includes dates with the Helio Sequence, the National, Japandroids and A.A. Bondy. The tour will stop in Vancouver for two nights in September and in Toronto in early October. The North American tour will be followed by a storming of the UK with the Black Keys.
