Still drawing from last year's Paracosm LP, lush electronic producer Washed Out (a.k.a. Ernest Greene) has treated the song "Weightless" to a music video.
Directed by David Altobelli, the seven-and-a-half-minute clip features plenty of slow-motion cinematography, and doubles as a short film about unrequited love between two young men in love.
"Unrequited love is a universal emotion," Altobelli said in a statement. "In this case, the emotions are heightened because there exists yet another wall between the protagonist and the object of his affection. It's heartbreaking and inevitable, but it's also just part of being a kid in love."
