Watch Mark Carney Jam Out to Down with Webster After Winning the Election

He's so whoa

Now that the election is over, Canadians never have to worry about seeing that horrifying Stephen Harper commercial again, and that's reason enough to celebrate. Of course, Liberal leader Mark Carney has much more than that to revel in, as he led the party to a fourth consecutive mandate. And what better way to own everyone who called him unelectable than to dance to a Canadian millennial classic?

The Prime Minister alluded to his love of Down with Webster when he did the hip flip with Nardwuar, and would often end his rallies by playing "Time to Win." Now, he has fully confirmed his admiration for the rap-rock band by having their song "Whoa Is Me" play at Liberal HQ following his win.

Clips online show Carney dancing to their performance while wearing a hoodie with DWW's logo on it, and "PM" printed on the top left corner. You can see him rapping along to "Whoa Is Me" while holding up the band's hand sign — we wonder which of his kids taught him how to do that. Watch it happen below.
