Carrie Brownstein is a woman of many talents — she shreds on stage as one third of Sleater-Kinney, dons an array of ridiculous personalities and wigs alongside Fred Armisen on Portlandia, and recently told her own truth via rock'n'roll memoir. Now, she's released a short film titled The Realest Real.
As previously reported, the 6-minute long offering was created in conjunction with KENZO's fall-winter campaign. The film debuted at New York Fashion Week today (September 13), and you can now watch the full thing online.
The film serves as a commentary on "the fickle and instant world of the internet," and it features cameos from the likes of Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon, Spider-Man: Homecoming's Laura Harrier, House of Cards' Mahershala Ali,Orange Is the New Black's Natasha Lyonne and Girl Meets World star Rowan Blanchard.
