As Jack White continues to tour in support of this year's albums Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive, he has debuted a new cover song: Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box."
He performed the song in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last Wednesday (November 16). His rendition is faithful to the original version from In Utero; he makes the solo a little flashier, of course, but otherwise, it's a straightforward run-through of the song's loud-quiet-loud dynamics.
Check out the performance of "Heart-Shaped Box" below; the first clip features the full audio of the song (but no visuals), while the next two show abridged video footage. To date, this is the only time he has performed the song, since it was left off of subsequent setlists.
Over the weekend, Jack White laid into Elon Musk, calling him "absolutely disgusting" for reinstating Trump on Twitter. White's Third Man Records subsequently quit Twitter.
