Following the release of the epic quadruple album 44, Joel Plaskett is throwing some more content at us. This time, it's a video for the project's "Collusion."
The video was shot in September 2019, and it takes viewers on a behind-the-scenes tour on the creative process that birthed 44's album cover, as "Joel and friends carefully assemble their patchwork of artifacts into the four-pane window box, transforming the relics of the past into something brand new."
On the track, Plaskett said, "We recorded 'Collusion' in Memphis, TN, on April 19, 2019. It was first take live off the floor into one microphone and the song seemed like a fitting way to start the album set. he video was filmed on Cape Breton Island in early September while we were doing the photo shoot for the album art."
