Dogstar — the grunge band that touts Keanu Reeves as their bassist — recently released their first album in 20 years, Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees. Now on tour in support of the record, the band have made a pit stop to play on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for their first TV appearance since the turn of the millennium.
On the show last night (November 28), the band played the track "Breach," which features a bit of a bass solo from Reeves himself — surely that bass lesson he got from Flea paid off. It has the vibe of watching some old friends from college play at a bar on a weeknight in the most wholesome way possible. Watch it below.
Dogstar is set to play Toronto's Lee's Palace on December 9, the only Canadian stop besides October's performance in Niagara Falls.
