Little Simz brought her NO THANK YOU track "Heart on Fire" to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (February 19).
Bringing the Harlem Gospel Choir, B String Quartet and members of the Late Show Band with her onstage, Simz begins the performance by rapping to her own reflection in a fancy armchair. Walking out to the middle of the stage, her collaborators become more apparent as she delivers her icy vocals in a flowing white gown. Watch it below.
NO THANK YOU was released on short notice late last year, and is the follow-up to Little Simz's Mercury Prize-winning album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert — Exclaim!'s favourite album of 2021. Last April, she cancelled her North American tour due to financial and mental strain.
