A new Bob Marley biopic from director Reinaldo Marcus Green has received its first trailer.
Arriving in theatres on January 12, 2024, Bob Marley: One Love stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as the reggae legend, while Lashana Lynch (No Time to Die, The Woman King) will play Rita Marley. It's been reported that Ben-Adir even learned to play guitar for the film.
As the trailer reveals, One Love centres on Marley's life following an assassination attempt in the mid '70s, as the artist prepares to return to his home country of Jamaica for the One Love Peace Concert in 1978.
One Love was produced by Marley's family — son Ziggy, daughter Cedella, and widow, Rita — and Robert Teitel.
Director Green's most recent feature film was 2021's acclaimed King Richard.
