Amazon has shared the trailer for the upcoming Kid Cudi documentary A Man Named Scott. The Robert Alexander-directed film is arriving on Prime Video on November 5 and will follow Cudi's life and career in the decade following his debut LP, Man on the Moon: The End of Day.
The trailer features footage of Cudi in the studio and on stage, and seems to focus heavily on the relationship between Cudi and his fans and his struggles with mental health.
"People look up to me, but I'm not a happy person," says Cudi, born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, in the trailer. "I felt like a fraud. That's what drove me to escape from reality."
"I sacrificed the privacy of my life and put my story out there to help others," he continues. "That's always been my mission. I'm not done yet."
Kid Cudi's animated Netflix series Entergalactic will also be arriving sometime in 2022, and he'll be appearing in Don't Look Up alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio, plus a whole lot of other famous people.
Cudi's last album was 2020's Man on the Moon III: The Chosen.
