Weezer just gave the covers-loaded Teal Album a vinyl release on Record Store Day — not to mention rocked out big time at Coachella alongside a pile of notable guests. Now the band have teamed up with none other than Tears for Fears to take on that group's '80s megahit "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" live on stage.
The collective redo came during Weezer's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (April 15), when Rivers Cuomo and co. brought Tears to Fears out on stage alongside them for "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." And as you'll see, the song is still one hell of an ear wormer all these decades later.
Watch the performance for yourself below.
Both The Teal Album and The Black Album are out now.
