Bruce Peninsula's warm and friendly-family barn-party vibe was a perfect fit for the gathered indie community to cap the beginning of the end for Wavelength as a weekly series. Powerful, almost theatrical gang vocals are still the group's most colourful calling card, even with added layers of polish and nuance in their overall musicianship. Their increasingly unique brand of gospel country alt rock has evolved and tightened over the years, though tasteful arrangements and wonderful energy aside, it was hard to stay engaged by BP after the masterful displays of creativity that started the night.
