After a few setbacks, fuzz-fried Vancouver alt-pop quartet Weed finally issued their debut LP Deserve today (September 10) via Couple Skate Records. What's even better is that the band have now announced they'll be toasting crowds along the West Coast this fall to help support the set.
Weed have a previously announced record release party taking place this Friday (September 13) at They Live Video in Vancouver, but have also just confirmed that they have a hometown show scheduled in the parking lot of the Emily Carr University of Art and Design to kick off the tour on November 7. The band last played the literally underground venue this past August with Kansas City punk quartet Lazy. Regrettably, no other Canadian dates take place in November, but you can nevertheless see the schedule down below.
As previously reported, Deserve follows a pair of 7-inches and was recorded in Seattle with Dylan Wall. You can sample the set's viscous, distortion daydream "Set Me Back" beneath the concert info.
