Having previously delivered a pair of 7-inches, Vancouver fuzz-pop quartet Weed are now ready to release their first-ever full-length. Titled Deserve, the West Coast outfit's debut LP drops July 22 through Couple Skate Records.
A press release notes that while Deserve apparently mines the same sort of "sludged out West Coast youth music" that was featured on 2011's "With Drug"/"Eighty" single and 2012's Gun Control EP, this latest song cycle finds also the act at their "most melancholy and melodic." The nine-song LP was recorded down in Seattle with Dylan Wall, and you can check out a sneak peek of the set down below via the album's "Set Me Back."
Weed are also just about to embark on a spring tour that will keep them busy beneath the border. They do, however, have a homecoming show booked in Vancouver on June 16.
