With a name this inventive and enticing, it's unsurprising that explosive doom/grind brigade Weekend Nachos are capable of some inspired viciousness. Tearing through 14 songs in just over 20 minutes, much of Worthless has a feel of hearing From Enslavement To Obliteration-era Napalm Death giving older Coliseum a run-through on one of Napalm's later Leaders Not Followers cover affairs. Throw in a bit of detuned, ball-rumbling dirge that would give Buzz Osborne straight hair and you've got something that might not be entirely original but certainly has enough malicious intent to deserve attention, recognition and respect.
