Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has popped up out of nowhere with a new solo track. Called "Medicine for Melancholy," you can stream the song now.
The solo cut comes as a bit of a surprise. After all, we've been waiting for Weezer to drop their long-promised Black Album, which isn't expected out until May 25. Nevertheless, though, the band's frontman has delivered "Medicine for Melancholy" all of a sudden.
And while you can hear the song for yourself down below, it's unclear what Cuomo has in store for the song and if perhaps he has a new solo album in the works.
As previously reported, Weezer are set to tour with the Pixies this summer. The band's last proper album also remains 2017's Pacific Daydream.
