Having previously teased the upcoming Natural Phenomena LP with a stream of its "Confusion," White Poppy (a.k.a. Vancouver psych-swirler Crystal Dorval) has now unveiled a fitting set of outdoorsy visuals.
The video was directed by Dorval, using Super 8 footage shot by Caitlin Gallupe. As you'll see down below, a black-robed White Poppy is found in fields and forest settings casting one hell of a spell with her Flying V. As the track's mountainous thump, cloud-cresting cries and fuzzed out layers of six-stringing play on, we're treated to the sight of flipped-negative treetops and various open-air moments refracted in a colour wheel glow.
You can see the earthy video down below courtesy of Noisey, while Natural Phenomena can be explored in full on June 23 through Not Not Fun.
