In anticipation of his new album Field Songs next month, William Elliot Whitmore has given us a taste of what can be expected from the new record, with the release of title track "Field Song."
According to a statement, the song "is a heartfelt and moving tribute to a disappearing America of small family farms and a proud working class from someone who knows the landscape intimately," with Whitmore having himself grown up working on his family's farm.
You can listen to the new track below and you can stream it, as well as another of the album's songs, here.
Field Songs will be released July 12 via Anti- Records.
