Country music icon Willie Nelson has announced a new album Bluegrass, out September 15 via Legacy Recordings. As the title suggests, the album will be a collection of some of his classic songs reimagined as bluegrass pieces.

Buddy Cannon produced Bluegrass, which features a slew of world-class bluegrass musicians, including Barry Bales on stand-up bass, Ron Block on banjo, Aubrey Haynie on fiddle, and Josh Martin on guitar. Nelson's son Micah designed the album artwork.

Today, he released the new iteration of "You Left Me a Long, Long Time Ago." The track was originally sung alongside Brenda Lee and released as part of 1982's The Winning Hand. Listen to the new version of the track below.

Nelson, having just celebrated his 90th birthday in April (bringing Snoop Dogg, Neil Young, Sturgill Simpson, and others to the stage for the momentous event) shows no sign of slowing down. He released his album I Don't Know a Thing About Love in March and has also written a memoir due out later this year.
