Allison Russell, Ani DiFranco, Gillian Welch, Mavis Staples Lead Winnipeg Folk Festival's 50th Anniversary Edition

OMBIIGIZI, Begonia, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Basia Bulat and more will also perform in 2025

Winnipeg Folk Festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025, and organizers have now unveiled this year's lineup heading to Birds Hill Provincial Park from July 10 to 13. 

This summer, the festival will welcome the Cat Empire, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Allison Russell, Mavis Staples, Ani DiFranco, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Lake Street Dive, Begonia, Fred Penner, Romi Mayes, the Duhks, Two Crows for Comfort, Zrada, Basia Bulat, David Essig, D'orjay & the Lovely Luvies Fam, Mia Kelly, Noeline Hofmann, Petunia & the Vipers, Blue Moon Marquee, Emily Wurramara, Leonard Sumner, Ruby Waters, OMBIIGIZI, La Chiva Gantiva, Les Mamans du Congo X Rrobin, Los Bitchos, Maryna Krut, the Paper Kites, Ye Vagabonds and more. 

"Curating the 50th edition was a balancing act — ensuring we present a musically diverse lineup that resonates with thousands while honouring the festival's legacy and looking toward its future," said Artistic Director Chris Frayer. "We believe this year's festival truly embodies what the Winnipeg Folk Festival has been about for the past five decades — people and music." 

Weekend passes and single-day tickets are on sale now via the festival's ticketing website, as are camping and RV passes.
