Calgary post-punk group Women are on the cusp of releasing their excellent sophomore album, Public Strain, this fall. Like any hardworking band, that means it's tour season for the much-loved act. As such, they've just unveiled a busy autumn schedule.
As previously reported, to kick things off, the band will spend the first half of September in Europe. Once they return to North America, they'll kick off a tour that includes Canadian shows in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Hamilton, Victoria, Vancouver and Edmonton. Along the way, they'll team up with Liars and DD/MM/YYYY for brief legs of the tour.
Public Strain will be released in Canada on September 28 via Flemish Eye. The album is currently available for pre-order, and will come with a limited-edition seven-inch containing two exclusive songs. More information is available here.
