Woodhands

If Dan Werb’s multitude of painful-looking facial expressions don’t bother you, then you might like Woodhands. The Toronto based duo — or trio, if you count producer/remixer Roger Leavens — bring electro pop to a new level of danceable. I don’t know if it’s just because I live in Toronto and I was in Montreal, but there was an unnatural amount of people full-on dancing to their yelp-synth-drum combo. Just keep your eyes on drummer Paul Banwatt and you should be able to make it through their set.
