Legendary SoCal punk group X first released The Unheard Music concert film in 1986, but chances are many of you have never seen it. Thankfully, it will be getting a proper reissue right before Christmas.
Called the "Silver Anniversary Edition," the film will be available in HD for the first time, with a new transfer and a 5.1 surround sound mix. It will also include 25th anniversary commentary from John Doe and Exene Cervenka, behind-the-scenes footage from 1983, and an outtake performance of "Some Other Time."
The Unheard Music: Silver Anniversary Edition will be available on December 13 via MVD. The film's original trailer is available below.
