It's been a year since Yaeji released her mixtape WHAT WE DREW 우리가 그려왔던, and now the producer has joined forces with DiAN for a new single titled "PAC-TIVE."
The song is released in celebration of PAC-MAN's 41st anniversary and named for the video game's "Be PAC-TIVE" initiative, encouraging gamers to "stay engaged and active."
"PAC-MAN is a game my parents and I can both remember playing in arcades growing up. It connects me to my previous generation and possibly to future generations too," Yaeji said of the release.
The song arrives alongside a video directed by Aphex Twin collaborator WEiRDCORE and stars Yaeji's "animated companion dog Woofa," who appears as a human/video game hybrid.
